HISTORY OF THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHAPTER

The first meeting of the Rocky Mountain Chapter to discuss the possibility of forming a local chapter of The Coca-Cola Collectors Club was held October 4, 1987 at the home of Enrique and Mary Garcia. There were 19 in attendance. This like minded small group of Coca-Cola memorabilia collectors then organized the first chapter in the Rocky Mountain region, and welcomed all collectors from Colorado and Wyoming. This chapter continues to meet with a cohesive group of collectors offering good times and fellowshipl Our current membership consists of members from Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska, California, South Dakota and Missouri. Many of our members are active in the national organization and at the annual conventions.

During the years, our chapter has met 3-4 times a year. Our activities have included hosting a collectors club museum, sharing our collections at various community functions, as well as celebrating our 20th anniversary with a collectors mini-convention in Denver. Our meetings consist of auctions, swap meets, show and tell, refreshments and, of course, door prizes. We invite you to join us in continuing the opportunity to form new friendships, while sharing that special interest in Coca-Cola memorabilia.

Our annual meeting will be on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the White Fence Farm in Lakewood, CO. Contact any of the officers for further information. Happy Collecting!
